Microtel Ownership Change
Important notice for people who reserved rooms with Microtel:
Your reservation may be null and void.
Microtel, we just learned, underwent a management change. And we're told that any reservations made before May 1 are null and void.
Yes, we can't believe it either. But that's the way it is. The new management has no record of any reservations made before May 1. Something very sloppy obviously happened in the takeover.
We apologize for this, but there's nothing we can do. Plus, we have no record of UB people who booked rooms at Microtel. Thus this mass notice.
If you booked a reservation with Microtel Inn & Suites before May 1, you must call 419-433-7829 and re-submit your reservation to them. They will honor all previous rate quotes, but the new management informed us that all reservations before that date will not be honored unless you call them.
We apologize on their behalf for the inconvenience this causes you.
We certainly don't want you, upon arriving, to discover that you don't have a room.
