Voting Delegates
The US National Conference is the highest governing body for United Brethren churches in the United States. Friday will be devoted to the business affairs of the US National Conference. The voting delegates include:
All national conference licensed ministers (persons holding a national conference license or a specialized ministry license), including retired and inactive ministers.
At least one layperson from each United Brethren church in the United States. The total number of delegates is based on a formula in the Discipline. Basically, churches get one lay delegate for each 150 persons in average attendance.
Reports
Nearly all reports are now available for viewing and downloading. A packet of reports was sent to all delegates on May 14.
The Delegates will:
- Elect a new bishop.
- Elect most members of the Executive Leadership Team.
- Vote on two changes to the UB Constitution (referenda).
- Consider a variety of proposed changes to the UB Discipline.
